Hi.

Welcome to my blog where I document my adventures in travel, family and food. Sometimes I rant about random stuff.
Hope you have a nice stay!

Gelato and hot chocolate

Gelato and hot chocolate

27 Novembre 2016

Pozzetto Gelato Caffe

Could a day get any better. It started with lamingtons and coffee, then crepes and cheese, and then gelato and hot chocolate. Good Italian style hot chocolate too. Well, it was an Italian Gelateria afterall.

Pozzetto Gelato Caffè is tres bonne. Or, being Italian, buonissimo. All the classic Italian flavours and some. Why gelato after I've spent a couple of pages complaining about how cold it was in Paris? I didn't say I was the brightest individual in the world but it is never too cold for gelato especially when it is washed down with rich, dark, thick Italian hot chocolate. Berthillon Glacier may be the most famous Parisian ice cream shop but Pozzetto was the best gelato we've had in a while.

The only other thing on the agenda for our first full day in Paris was dinner. So, let's see, we got up and ate, then we walked and ate, then we strolled and ate, and finally we were going to walk to another eatery.  Apparently Paris has some of other things that may be of interest to tourists. There's tower, and a church, a couple of museums. I suppose if we could get a feed at any of those places we'd check them out too.
